How to replace window seals on 280 motor home

Anyone know how to replace the flet and the seals on :

Front fixed pane of 1981 Airstream 280?

If anyone is interested in where to get these and other seals cheap, I found some in Denver at a wholesale windshield repair place.

I'm interested, plus we'll be in Denver in a few weeks. Got a link or a name?

I'm interested too !! I am the new owner of Silvie if anyone remembers that topic. She is still in the Repair SHOP with the top of the motor in serious trouble. I had hoped it was just the Trubo but nooooo. I really don't know how we made it 600 miles home over the mountains. She also needs all window gaskets including the windshield replaced.

Do you know what has happened to the motor? I did blow a turbo, had it replaced and it still smoked, bad. After we ripped the top end apart we found we'd been sold a new BAD turbo.

Jim, if you go to search and enter window seals motorhome you might get more action. Or at least more to read. This thread had some discussion regarding the outside seals as well.

The windshield seals are different of course. Check with Andy or CoachGlass as you need both the rubber strip and the lock strip too. Don't even think about saving the old ones if removing the windshield as the old ones are toast due to age.
