As far as the propane guage, it might be the plastic guage sending unit. Take it off the tank and go see your local propane distributor. (It should be a magnetic, so it does not penetrate the tank, attached with 2 little self tapping screws to the main sending unit which does penetrate the tank) They should have them in stock. I know Heritage Propane has them, if they are in your area.

If you are not sure about this, take the whole motorhome to them and let them take the sending unit off.

345 duo therm heater

I have been told that the NT20S Surburban heater is the replacement-however they stated that the exhaust ports on the outside are not in the same place. The skin would have to be patched and new holes cut it.
Can anybody verify this?

Check my post on the replacement of my rear furnace. The front is similar with the only exception of having to mod the front cover of the new unit to blow heat out under the sink cabinet. The exterior mod is simple. Just get a piece of stainless steel to cover the old holes. If needed I can get some pictures of my front installation.

Michael,
Here are some shots of our front suburban furnace install. The furnace feeds the round outlet on the front side of the under sink cabinet, as well as the rectangular outlet in the hall side of the cabinet. I think the original furnace must have been shorter in depth as the front cover has been modified to feed the rectangular vent.
Hope this helps, Rob
