Thanks for the response--although my question is yet unanswered.

Can I, at 6'-4", avoid head lacerations moving about in an Airstream MH?

Only with appropriate headgear.

Don't know which 28' model (or year) you are inquiring about.

On the "Classic" Motor Homes:

6' -- maybe -- 6'4" -- no way.

I pretty well know my way around the '87 345 cabin, and at a height challenged 5' 10", I still wack my head on a couple of cabinets.

You would have problems in several areas of the cabin, but no moreso than an Airstream trailer of similar vintage.

The new style Motor Homes have considerably more headroom.

Having considered the above, I sure wouldn't let a few possible bumps to the head sour a deal if you have found a sweet 28' MoHo that you just HAVE to have!

depends on the year

The older MHs had more head room than the newer units. Our 79 has 6' 6" at center...3" less at the AC control shroud. The problem with any AS for anyone over 5' 8" is the door...

Just measured the 345 - within 1" of zamboni's measurements (6' 7" at center) - but only 6' available when standing in the shower.

6' 1" at the track for the vinyl door to the rear bedroom.
