Rivet gas gauge sensor

Can anybody help I am having trouble locating the fuel sensor on my excella motorhome. The fuel gauge is reading more than full so presume it is shorting out as the tank is only 1/4 full . Do I have to remove floor under bed to find sensor connector into Norman

Norman,

The sender is located on top of the tank and to the best of my knowledge there is no access through the floor. Check out the following thread. It has a good write up on how to lower the tank for repairs, etc.

Hi there
Read you horror story about importing. We live in the Midlands UK and are looking for an Airstream - we first thought of a motorhome - but the fuel
guzzling through it scared us. We have a landrover 101 forward control on LPG rover V8 and its crippling on a long journey.
So - we may have a trailer - not a 30 footer -
What made you decide to import ?
I gather then - one has to add on an extra £3000.00 on the cost ??
I have no contacts in the US to help so I,m just trying to get round this web site
Kind rgds
Lili
