Flickering interior lights

Recently I have noticed that my interior lights (12v) have started randomly flickering and going dimmer and brighter, again randomly. I cannot associate the flickering/dimming with the operation of some other electrical item or system. I think my "house" batteries are reaching the end of their life, so could this be causing this? The charge in the batteries is fairly consistent, if a little lower than it should be with stronger batteries. We are on shore power, which is functioning as it should be. A body else seen this before?

Have you tried disconnecting from shore power and seeing if they still flicker? While I was at Lewisburg a few weeks ago, my 12v LED interior lights were flickering while I was on shore power, but when Lewisburg had a power outage and I went on straight house battery power, the flickering went away. When power was restored, the flickering was back.

I suspect that the flickering was due to low AC voltage to the battery chargeró while my Airstream was plugged in to shore power it wasn't actually using battery power, but rather power provided by the charger. And since the flickering was not evident when I was plugged in to shore power at other campgrounds on my way back home from Lewisburg, that only reinforces my opinion that the flickering was due to low shore power voltage at that one campground.

Flickering 12 volt lights could be caused by many things. Buy a cheap digital voltmeter and check the output of the converter. Also check the input AC. If flicker is all lights, check the voltage at the 12 volt distribution box behind the couch. Check that the ground to the converter and lights are not loose or corroded.

Mine did flicker too in the bathroom. I cleaned the bathroom fan and found a metal ring hanging loose over the led-light plus there was almost no insulation. I secured that metal ring and pushed more insulation in it. The flickering stopped and I cured another annoying rattle.
The metal ring was supposed a back support for the led-light which the install figured was not needed so he only secured the led-light in the bathroom fiberglass.
