If you are actually referring to the Classic...the name changed from Excella, but we generally refer to all the Airstream Aluminum skinned Mh's as Classic. They ran from 1979-96 in various sizes and configurations.

does anyone know all the locations of the vin number on the 1979 28" excella. we can find the number on the firewall, but understand there is another location also. cannot find. thanks

Hi Vito. I have a 79 Excella 28' center bath. The info on mine is on the inside of the closet door next to the refer. Good luck finding yours. joe
