Can someone tell me how to take the door handle off?I'm trying to fix the dead bolt and doorbell. I loosen the two screws on the side plus the inside knob inside, but the handle wont budge,I'm afraid to dent the alluminium skin.Help!!!

Entry Door Handle
Just did this on my 86 - 345.
In addition to what you've done, remove the 3 screws on the inside faceplate and the whole assembly will come apart; half to the inside and half to the outside.
If this fails, get a bigger hammer
Good luck.

I guess I have to cut the thin wood panel to access the inside screw?

The inside screws sould be on the chrome plate that has the door lever inside on it.
There should be no cutting involved.

I have the same issue on mine and I think I know what you mean...there is no access to the deadbolt door handle from inside the coach. I'm wondering how to do this too. The release handle in the door itself has three screws to remove and it comes apart, but the handle has no visible fasteners other than in the door latch in the frame.
I'm following this too as I need to replace the deadbolt cylinder in mine.

Dead Bolt Handle
OH! I think "thenewkid64" and I misunderstood and have led you astray.
You're trying to remove the deadbolt handle NOT the entry door handle.
That does looks like a real challenge. I dunno, but maybe there is someone on the forum who can help.

I need to service my entry door schlage deadbolt too. (1983 Model 300)
Did any of you have success with your attempts?
How did you do it?
I am thinking that I may have to remove/cut into interior skin to get access.

I don't know if your parts and my parts are the same.
do you have to take the interior skin off to install it?

well I have my handle installed , I even backed it with .125 alu sheet for added strength
my only problem is I have wires for a doorbell , but no idea were it runs to , and no doorbell found in the normal locations, I guess I could run a new wire down the wall and under edge of carpet to power panel and put me a homedepot version in .
