Ebay MH
This looks like a really nice MH. What information should I be asking for from the seller. What issues should I expect from one this year and age. Really like how it looks.

Dents!
Looking the pics over I see a number of dents in the skin. These can be really expensive to fix. You need to know how the ac's work, the heating, frig, micro-wave, stove, leveling jacks, ect. These things can be spendy. Any work on the engine or transmission? How old are the tires? More than 5 or 6 years, they need to be replaced.

here is a copy of aMotohrome checklist. Some things were specific to another motorhome buyer, but you wil get the idea.... In addiditon to the dents and maybe a crease in the photos ( not sure) , there is a patch over the middle of the drivers side..i wonder what that is.
The 290 is a desirable model, with the rear bedroom of the 310 and the slightly smaller easy to drive size.

This looks like it has a ceramic tile floor. Could this be?

That's what it looks like to me. And it's got tile around the kitchen and bathroom sinks too. The sink in the bathroom look like it's a regular household model, not a smaller, lighter one that we normally see in Airstreams.

The carpet looks like a do-it-yourself job. Also there is a round amber light on the upper roadside corner that must be hiding something. It doesn't belong.

Looks like a really nice unit from the pictures. The 290 is a good configuration with the rear bedroom. If this had a diesel it would be perfect. Is there someone out there who can take a look at the MH for you before you bid?

I particularly like the rear end shot that points out the "small dent" in the lower back panel, but totally omits any mention of the obvious big dents in the rear roadside segment, including that misplaced light (betcha that dent had a big hole!). And the patch on the roadside - could have been done a lot less noticably - AND there is definitely a ding that extends from the back of it.

Wow, I didn't notice the damage with the yellow light. Just all excited about how nice it looks in some shots. That patch looks like it had a post repair encounter with a low flying supersonic goose.
All that tile has to tax the weight limit. Does look awful pretty. The small dent I could live with, the two higher panels and side panel would need to be replaced and that looks pricey. I wander how tile groat holds up hitting a pot hole at 60mph.

ceramic tile is about as good a choice for flooring as corian is for countertops.Looks great but too heavy.
