Does anyone have an idea how much a 28 foot, rear bath, gas engine, dual AC, and every other option avail. (yes including that fine peice of audio technology 8 track player) 81 Excella MH, would have gone for new. I have heard upwards of 150k. Seems very high to me. Anyone else know? Any idea how many were built?
Thanks in advance
J
Keep in mind that in 1981, Airstream made an Excella trailer AND an Excella motorhome. The prices above were for the motorhomes since your post was in the motorhome area. Make sure you check which Excella model they are talking about.
If you want a current price estimate, I'd check www.rvtraderonline.com for your model and year.
For the original price, I'd ask the question in another area more likely to be inhabited by owners of your particular unit.
sorry to take up so much room on this Thread. I get tired and my eyes don't read as carefully as they should b/c of weariness and need to quit. Passing the "torch" back to you MH people---I'm back to just plain Airstreams.
See ya...

Sunday---
After I so sincerely sent you the above in the wee-hours of the morning, responding to a Personal Message which turned out to be one from a Forum MHer-I want you ALL to know this:
--That I am so sorry I have "aggravated" so many people with my careless posts...(which were) caused in no small part to the eyestrain (not seeing the word "engine") I get from all the close work on the fashions I create...and also from the neck disability I suffer from (I don't talk about). I am not excusing this 'slight' I made to you all...and I really believe the "lady" should have had the "Chutzpah" to say all of her condescending things to me in her PM--- to me right here on the Thread...
"there's 'one' in every group I think" (I responded this to her)
in small part, this is what I received:

When you ask questions that have already been answered or are unrelated, other forum members get aggravated with you.
Here's an example:
\That thing with the forums sticker is another example of the same thing. There were images and links in messages that you missed, and then made a long post about wanting.
It's frustrating to people to spend their limited forum time directing others back to i
nformation that was overlooked. <<
...again..I am sorry---I will post less -wordy, less NON-observantly, and ... no doubt less often....and certainly no longer on this Thread.
