I really like those old Dodge motorhomes.

Richard, I've seen one of these before and never could get close enough to figure out the brand/make.

They aren't a bad looking motorhome.

Mike, here is the only picture I have of the one I saw, which I believe was somewhere in Arizona.

At the time I was trying to decide if it was an early Argosy but in the end I decided that the rear was to curved. I was also wondering if the windshields and possibly the cockpit windows were the same as the Argosies and the Classics. Sure looks like it!

These have Mopar 440's, but in pusher position. The company actually was known for making amphibious vehicles for the US. FMC motorhome production ended when the company got the contract to produce the Bradley. Very cool.

While not strictly a motorhome, this unit has so much going on I just had to share it.

Something cool from 'back home'. Back in the late 60s, early 70s used to be found in just about every residential street in the UK, I give you the Bedford Dormobile.

A Bedford CA van conversion (is one a '68), Bedford were part of Vauxhall, the UK arm of GM. Concertina roof and the local market rival of the VW Type II.

Nowadays nearly as rear as a shorty Argosy!

What a neat little van, love the eyebrow headlights. That front end reminds me of a Pug!

The base van was sold in Canada as the Envoy CA, so maybe some made it over to this side of the pond.

At one point every ambulance, crew bus, delivery van, and ice cream van in the UK was a CA, then in 1965 Ford launched the Transit and killed the CA and it's successor the CF almost overnight.

I got a ride once in a Bedford, while hitching to Cornwall to check the surf.
The guys were passing around some funny cigarette on that drive.

Cool old van never did seem at all fast, even with the smoke.

Cheers Richard
