Found this interesting as I was just over at the Yahoo AS group and they had this on their opening page. I've been away so I apologize if this is a repeat post ...

I think it's cool! Looks like it has a lot of underneath storage. They should paint the cab silver though!

I can hardly see the trailer wheel -- must need a new axle already.

Nope enduro, we haven't seen that one before! That looks like a 19' Safari? That's the right position for the stove at least. Not sure about the window arrangement. 2air has said there are limits to what the factory will do. Wonder who would be doing this? Looks like it has some interesting lower access doors. Where's the air conditioner?

Using a new shell isn't a problem IMO. Just hate to see somebody hack up a vintage though.

Doesn't look vintage to me.

I agree, the cab should be painted silver.

Looks like a more usable unit than a "B" van. Should have lots more living space.

Could maybe tow a small trailer carrying toys, or a boat.

I don't know. We were seriously considering a View, so we went to Colonial Airstream to see one. You can figure out the rest. But combining the two definitely has appeal!

It sure looks different. But hey its an Airstream, gettin a "piggyback ride".
Just different, like the new one we saw on the final assembly line at the end of April ,with Hand-Pull Rails and Handbrakes on the tongue and hot water heat on the inside. It was bound of Europe somewhere, Defineatly Different

I thought that was posted in an earlier thread not too long ago. I'll have to see if I can find it.

No, I thought I saw a picture of one that used the shell of a newer Bambi. I can't remember what thread it was in.
