Cheapest New Generator (Onan)

I have had two 2800 Microlite Gensets break on me. Both had bad rotors. On the second one I had a new PC Board and starter replaced before the rotor went........(HUGE wasted $$$$$!!!!)
In short, rotors are faulty, and there is a design flaw between Onan and Airstream in the B Van.......too much draw and not enough power if you are a fulltimer and like to use your AC unit. There appear to be no options for other generators to fit into that small compartment.

Since I can't do all that engine repair work that others have mentioned in this forum - I'm not a happy camper!

Zen, Honda makes a built in RV genset. Not sure what the model number is, but I bet it cost less than two Onans

bet it wont fit in the hole the 2.8 is a small gen set. to bad you cant fit a 4.0 in the hole that is a great set for one ac plus.
