The voltage after moving the regulator feed is now in line with what I expected to see on the dash gauge.
Now we will see if it works like it is supposed to this weekend. I also spent time replacing the dead house battery, and stripping tie wraps and looming the wires that run all over the front of the engine compartment. I have to get it neat before Mystic Springs because you are all going to want to see my shiney new carb.
BTW the carb came and it was the wrong one. I musta fat fingered the order form on line. I am returning it for the same CFM, but with the reccomended electric choke. So the Carb project has to wait until the week of the 20th, oh well, jsu more time to do dress up.......
