Question 1995 LY 33L Airbag help

On our way to San Antonio we had a blowout on our 1995 Land Yaght 33F. Thankfully we were able to get the tired fixed, but the blowout knocked 3 holes in the airbag for the air suspension.

I am having issues trying to trackdown what airbags are the replacement ones. The RV dealers I have called are telling me it is a Chassis issue, and told me to call the Chevy dealer (has a Chevy chassis), but they are telling me it is an after market airstream part. I called 2 Airstream dealers and they cant tell me what it is either.

One place I called said that if I had the model # off the airbag they could order them, but I cant find it on the orginal bag without taking the tires off. I cant do that b/c I dont have the jack needed to do this.

Can anyone assist with what I can do to get this fixed?

The only suggestion I can give you is to try truckspring.com Air Lift, AirLift, Air Suspension Kit, Suspension, Air Spring, Air Bag Suspension They sell bags for the RV and trucking industry. I bought the front and rear bags for our 1984 310 motorhome from them. Prices are good and they have fast shipping.

Give them a call at 800-358-4751 and tell them the specs of your motorhome and hopefully they can help.

Good luck!

Brad

Register under My Workhorse at Workhorse. After you have registered, search for the "Workhorse Motor Home Chassis"... it is a free download - 135 pages, all kinds of good info including part numbers that you might need.

Ralph, just got done downloading the manual you pointed out. They list part numbers for the steering bell cranks. I'm hoping they actually sell the parts. Too date I've only been able to find the bell cranks from Supersteer at $300 each. Workhorse lists replacement bushings for the bell cranks which I'm hoping will be cheaper.

Thanks for the tip!

Brad

Perhaps I am a bit thick!.... but did not find the P-30 download.

Many years ago I did find similar on a GMC site, I will try and find that, but if any one can link me to the .pdf file as above I would be grateful. I don't think the register form liked any one in the UK!

Chuck,

Sometime in the next few days I can probably upload the file to our website for you to download. I'd email it but its 11 meg which is just a bit to big for most email systems.

Chassis Guide download link

Debbie & Chuck, I've sent each of you a PM with a link where you can download the Chassis Guide from Workhorse.

Let me know if you have any problems.
