1985 310 found off road

When we were driving home from St. George Island two weeks ago, we spotted this 1985 310 off the road a few miles west of Tallahassee. I went back today since I was in the area. The owner's name is Gene. He doesn't use it much. He's had several people inquire about buying it but he wants $40,000 for it. Gene spent $15,000 replacing the engine, transmission, and fridge. I told him about our rally but he was not interested. He originally intended to drive it to South America. His father purchased it new. It is a 1985 310 with the rear dinette/king bed. I told him those are hard to find and that would be a selling point he should mention. I didn't see inside.

sure hope he gets close to his asking price! That would be nice for the resale value averages.
Uncleneal sold his 310 for 15500 recently and it seemed to be a good one from the photos I saw.
There is an Argosy 28 on ebay starting at $9900 this week.
