Where to get diagrams, manuals for '63 Bambi?

Can somebody kindly point me to whatever equipment diagrams and user manuals are available for the '63 Bambi?

I understand Airstream did not issue a true service manual for the '61-'63 Bambis, but perhaps others have documented much of it since.

I found the number below for ordering material via the mail, but was hoping to find it in html or pdf form which I could download ASAP.

I'm probably going to get a lecture for not finding this on the site by searching, but I've made some effort and haven't found much, and time is tight, as the Bambi needs to roll Saturday, and we want to get as many utilities as possible working before then.

Any help anyone can provide would be MOST APPRECIATED.

Everything worked on the Bambi when my Dad died 27 years ago in 1980, but it's been just sitting since. (You can see some images of the outside, which already looks better, by clicking on "Goldtimer" and "view Goldtimer's gallery" in the left sidebar. The inside has a solid floor and is generally OK except for somewhat dirty mattressses. My Dad also got creative with the wiring, marking plugs 12v and 110V, so that might be a challenge.)

I did find this, and will try calling today, as even a 1964 manual should help.

Q: I need an owners and service manual for my Airstream. Where can I get one?
A: The first owners manuals were published in 1964. Prior to that, the owner received a brown envelope containing parts lists and other helpful information on the accessories in his trailer. The VAC has started making these available in the Members Archive section. A service manual with instructions for performing service operations did not exist until 1972.
You can get photocopies of owners manual (1964+) and service manuals (1972-1986) from:

Helen Davis Secretarial Services
PO Box 484 Sidney, OH 45365
(937)492-8885

Prices are about $33 and $70 respectively.

Just so you know, most Airstream products had eliminated the 120 volt lighting system in 1964, so your wiring diagrams will be different.

Howdy Goldtimer, I have some info on the 63 Bambi. Here is the site on the restoration of our Bambi. Floor Replacement 63 Bambi I'd be happy to share what ever info I can. I'll do some resurch and see if I can find what info I have and send it to you in a while. Just getting ready to go on a rally. Time is short right now.

Thanks for the quick replies, 063 and NCB.

O63, I think it's safe to say there's nothing standard about the current wiring, given my Dad's unorthodox methods.

NorCal, I'd already run across your major floor replacement project. Glad you got it done, and glad I don't have to. Only some some minor dry rot under the bed. The walking area of the floor seems solid. Your redone trailer looks great in the photos. Please don't let helping me detract from getting ready for your rally.

Thanks again in advance for anything you (or anyone) can send, or link to, re. any of the utilities, as I only have what I can see now.
