I had the same problem and solved it a little cheaper. I used a plastic cutting board material from Walmart. It came in a package of two for 99 cents. The material was about the same thickness as the fiberglass original and was 12" X 15", enough for two lights from one sheet. After I learned (the hard way) that it needs at least 1/2" clearance from the bulb I've had no problem. From 1 foot away it looks very close to original.
