FYI... The
1960 to 1693 Bambi segments on the end-caps are not the same with any other end-cap segments of trailers built at that time. The front end-cap is very close, if you unrivet the bottom two segments and then cut out a wedge and rerivet the segments back together. It is very close but still not fully correct! The rear end-caps however are a "one trailer only!" To maintain higher head room the rear end-caps are not "sloped back" and are more rounder than the other larger trailers of the time! The rear window of a Bambi is also different than any other trailer of that time making the segments different too.
The best way, however very costly, is to fix the end-caps by hand. This can run up to $300 per segment, so you can see it can add up very quickly!
