13" tire upgrade to 14; Bambi

I need to buy 14"tires and wheels. Off the shelf today. If I were theoretically going to buy a 62 Bambi with 13" wheels I would need to upgrade to 14's. I can't order I need to buy off the shelf. Can I use trailer tires like for a boat? Anyone know specs like offset and what size?

Vintageairstream.com says some 50s models used 14.5" but the original manual on airstream.com says 650x13.

What can I use off the shelf? I called airstream Jackson center. They said go to vintage airstream.com!

Ok. They are apparently not split rims. So tire guy at Firestone suggested passenger vehicle tires 175/70 -13. I just need to drive it about 3 hrs home. This ok?

My Bambi has 14' wheels but has the 4 bolt stud pattern. I need a new axle and must go to a 5 or 6 stud patttern. SHould I go back to original 13 " wheels or stay with 14??

Hey busboy
I replaced our axle with a Dexter. It has a 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern. I bought 13in rms and GYM tires. 14in mght be better if there is room.
