windshield wipers 350 LE classic 1992

Newbie questions: Does anyone know if the windshield wipers are supposed to work in the same direction on the rig? Mine are not in harmony, maybe a wire is crossed? Any other ideas, similar occurrences? Thanx.

Each wiper has it´s own motor, and they are not in sinc. Since I also did't like it, I build aftermarket interval switch in the line and now the problem is gone.

The windshield wiper on my driver's side did not go all the way over (it stopped about 2/3 of the way over to the left - so that 1/3 of the driver's side was obscured by rain!). We had it adjusted - but now it comes to rest about 1/3 over from the right. I think I just have to live with this?

When our windshield wipers are going - it looks a lot like Forest Gump running.

There are 2 adjustments. First is to pull the wiper arm and move it, that is what it sounds like was done. Second is to move the bolt in the linkage, that will adjust the width of the sweep. It is a pain to get to this, that is probably why they just moved the arm.

Thanks! I'll have them try to adjust that bolt in the linkage . . .

Emily,
have you driven the beast at highway speeds in the rain with the wipers on?
The force of the wind typically increases the sweep. Your previous adjustment may have been correct.
