Peter,
One would think that after the set-up they could run additional sets and their unit cost would drop, so I think they should be able to accommodate the extra units. I will be ordering the rear sets soon for my 350.

Thanks again for arranging this for us.
Malcolm

Malcolm, yes, one would think that to be true. But when I repeatedly inquired about the fronts they told me that they were only selling 10-15 pairs/year, which did not cover the tooling and cost to make them.
So lets get them and run with it.

Thanks Peter,
On an off post topic, has anyone developed a comprehensive check list for the motor homes? I have been copying the posts from Marcus and Martin (and others) dealing with the mechanical issues they are currently addressing and making a check list from that information I can give to a service center to use.

Not that I know of, but that is a great idea!

When I recently called Centramatics to check compatibility for my 370, I was told that the die needed to make this particular balancing unit had supposedly been "lost" somewhere in the factory?. The fellow openly conveyed a sense of bewilderment…. saying, "how do you misplace a 3500 pound piece of tooling equipment?"

Apparently it's been found.

Funny, must be a case of "wanting to find it "??? Oh, yeah, and Texas is big
The other story I got once, was that the tooling for that particular set was destroyed and that's the end of it.

I saw Brad working on a checklist recently
I will see if I find some of the good ones written over the years

Good news:
1. We can have some more
2. Rep that they can ship them directly from the factory to you. If you are out of State, it will save you the high Texas sales tax (8.25%) I have to pay

Still no word on shipping day, hopefully by Christmas

Peter, that's great news!

If they are shipping direct does that mean we pay them or you?

Happy Thanksgiving
