Good news:
1. We can have some more
2. Rep that they can ship them directly from the factory to you. If you are out of State, it will save you the high Texas sales tax (8.25%) I have to pay

Still no word on shipping day, hopefully by Christmas

Peter, that's great news!

If they are shipping direct does that mean we pay them or you?

Happy Thanksgiving

UPDATE:
Rep called me and is freaking out. They can't find that particular Stamp or whatever to make the 400-406 (just like they mentioned to Charly when he called about his 370)
Rep is all ticked off, because he confirmed delivery to me just a week ago.
Now, they are all (as in all!!) trying to figure out what to do and they may have a solution.
I am not supposed to tell you this, instead I am just supposed to say they have been back ordered until early January.
I am not particularly happy, after putting all this time and effort into this, but lets see what they come up with.
If you send me payment already, let me know if you want me to hold the check or return it to you.
I want my darn front balancers

Dang. That is frustrating after all of the communication you have had with the Rep. Maybe they will realize they have customers waiting for their product and pull their act together.

One could mount the flat kind on the outside of the front wheels, not pretty.
But I'd bet it would be a conversation starter .

Peter my check should be arriving there soon, just hang onto it for now.
Let's hope we get a New Years surprise.

Thanks for your efforts on this.

Cheers Richard

Lol, Richard, I have to admit that I had the same thought before, about mounting the flat one on the outside...
The rep was real embarrassed and said he called me as soon as he was told and then called me back 30 minutes later after talking to the owner of the company. We'll see...

The other story I got once, was that the tooling for that particular set was destroyed and that's the end of it.
Peter,

You know that saying about no good deed going unpunished. Merry Christmas from Centramatics!! I'm willing to bet that you've been talking with a salesman that is paid on a commission basis.

Hopefully they'll rise to the occasion and come through for us. Hang onto my check in the meantime. While we're waiting for the final act to play out, lets pray that "the other story you once got" isn't going to be it.

Regardless of the results, continued thanks for your efforts!

Charly

Had lunch on Sunday at Johnsons Corner north of Denver. Listened as a couple of truckers talked about Centramatics on their trucks/trailers. They were big fans. One claimed he was getting 100K miles on a set of tires, sometimes more. Greatly reducing their operating costs.

No news yet, but an update:
I called the rep in early Jan and he said he was waiting for Jessie to come back from Mexico the following week.
Following week went by and another, so I texted rep today and asked for an update. He replied they were waiting for Jessie to come back from Mexico
I replied "Oh, I thought he was supposed to be back 2 weeks ago?"
He called me right back and said he has been driving everyone crazy at the factory, but without results.
So I said by the end of next week I need a Yes or No. If yes and it takes another month to get them, no problem.
So hang in there, but I don't have a good feeling about it. You probably get your check back next week or I write void on it and send you a picture. Sorry for the long wait...

Got a call today. Jesse will have the prototype ready in 2-3 weeks. The rep, who has been working hard for this to actually happen, will personally delivery it to me to make sure it fits.
After my approval (hopefully) they will make us a batch.
That means it may be a couple month before we get our hands on it.
If you decide you don't want to wait, let me know I will send you your check.
None of the checks have been deposited, which is probably the reason why you can't balance your check book

Is he bringing one for just a test fit or two so you can test drive?

Not that it really matters though

It's great that they opted to full fill their commitment.

Wow Peter, I'm a little surprised to hear they are stepping up to do this job for us.
Persistence pays off sometimes.

Those checks may become out of date by the time they do have something for us. We can work that out at that time.

Thanks Peter for sticking with it for us. Sounds like it may pay off in the long run.

Cheers Richard
