It can't be wrong firing order..you would not have made it cross country without a lot of misfires. I crossed two wires on my GM 350. The misfire was terrible, and one garage said it was blown head gasket. GM service manager picked it up right away and showed me where if it is a GM engine the firing order is embossed on the top of the engine.

I know, I know, you just "pulled the trigger". How I hate that phrase. "buy" is such a better term.
