You could check into getting a tow dolly with surge brakes, that way you wouldn't have to wire anything else. I don't remember seeing any, but that doesn't mean they aren't made.

Thanks. Master Tow was using surge brakes until this year, but I've noticed they're advertising electric brakes now. Demco has been electric. I'd prefer surge, but haven't located any. Not certain yet what I'll tow, but it will be FWD, and I really like the idea of just the rear wheels taking any wear. Also, the cost of a complete 4-down is much higher than a dolly due to the brake actuator cost. Those are the reasons I was attempting to determine how, or if, one would wire another electric brake with my tag axle set-up.
