Took many hrs today to replace...what a pain. Problem has getting old hose off of pump. Also the hose they sent me has a metal wire inside the hose for strength. Problem is can't expand hose any to push over rib on connection on pump. I don't suggest this hose at all.
Folks don't understand that this hose has no pressure on it just needs to be hydraulic fluid rates so that it doesn't deteriorate from fluid. Everyone insists on selling you hose rated for 300 lbs pressure. Rolling my eyes!
I had to rip out the metal wire from an inch of hose at the end to be able to push onto pump.
Got it all back together but now have squeak in pump. Maybe air in line/pump. Well have to move mh off current space tomorrow.
Sorry to hear you had problems. In the hydraulic industry all suction hoses come with wire or some other reinforcement to prevent the hose from collapsing and starving the pump. This goes for water hoses too. Your lower radiator will have reinforcement too. Glad to hear you got it working.
