Onan 4k 1979 Oil Filter?

what is the correct filter for the generator in my 79? it is a Onan 4k green in color if that helps.

my onan is a BFA A

always compare filter before using
I used the fram toughgaurd 3600 and it fit

Go to Onan's site and click on Onan Parts. You will need the model and spec number, that should be on the generator tag.

I bought my filter at NAPA they have a big cross reference guide.It was 4 or 5 bucks. Mine is an 82 if it is heloful I will go and get the no. off it. Also a 4kw. NH series.
