I live in Tampa and have had 2 transmissions rebuilt by a company called Zeigler Transmission. They are in a town called Oldsmar... right next to Tampa. They do excellent work. My transmissions were for my vehicles, but I see them working on trucks and RV's all the time. It's worth a call. They even give a nationwide warranty which is good for travelers.

OK zieglar did their rebuild last week. seems like a reputable company. Their tranny specialist (15 years experience) took a couple of days to do his rebuild. was ready as scheduled: seems ok. price was as estimated. 12 month, 12000 mile warranty was nice to see included in price. would I recommend them to others? you bet.
