Unhappy Need one simulator

While driving in Mexico, one of my rear simulators came of.f. I didn't realize that was the sound I heard until my TireSmart began to scream at me about the inside driver side dual being at 12 pounds.

Pulled right over and discovered that the simulator was gone and that it had pulled the end off of the valve extension for the inside tire thereby deflating that tire. I removed the broken extension and added air from the air tank and all was well. (The TireSmart has now repaid part of its purchase price).

Now I need to replace that simulator. All I have found so far is sets of four. Any ideas?

www.hubcapzone.com is one place that I know sells individual pieces. Might try a truck salvage yard. I need one for my dually, front wheel. But I haven't had much luck matching up the ones that are on there.

You can try a used hubcap place. They specialize in used hubcaps (who'da thunk?) and will usually sell you one, instead of all four. Check your yellow pages for hubcaps, if there is no listing there, go to Automobile parts and supplies, used and rebuilt.

there is a vendor on ebay who sells wheel sims, and will sell them individually if you contact them directly.

Hello,
Try this place, he also sells on ebay, I bought a set and he was reasonable.
I asked about a rear simulator for my spare tire and seems like it was $50.00 or so, a couple of years ago. I paid seems like $170 or so for 16" set of 4
way less than camping world
http://www.rvwheel.com/
I think he also goes by www.wheelsimulators.com but not sure.
they are stainless and I'm pleased.

Thanks everyone. I'll look into the places you have suggested.

How are the simulators supposed to be held on? The reason I lost one was that it was attached very insecurely with a couple of nuts which were turned onto the studs that hold the rim on. There was very little of the stud protruding so that the outer nut was at most half a turn on. Obviously not how its supposed to be.
