Have two problems, one is the heater core, Acme Manufactured, anyone replaced on of these?
My engin block heater shorted. When I checked the plug installed to the wall switch found the switch installed UPSIDE DOWN. OFF was ON...no wonder it failed, it has been running for six years. You may want to check yours!!
I had to have mine repaired. I was in the A/C-heater unit for another problem and found the core had a small leak.
My coach is an '86 345. On it the heater core access is good, and the core slides right out. The A/C-heater unit is behind the carpeted panel in front of the copilot seat.
