Anyone know of a good diesel mechanic that will work on my Airstream in San Diego California?

I have all the filter numbers from NAPA for the isuzu 6bd1. If anyone wants them i can post them.

These are all NAPA GOLD numbers
Upper fuel(on the motor) = 3260
Racor fuel filter = 3208
Oil filter cartridge = 1640

Yep, 1982 310TD with the 4 speed allison transmission.

I have a 1983 310 with the chevy 454, unfortunately part of one of the spark plugs ended up in the piston and destroyed my engine with only 70k miles on it.
I am looking at switching over to a Diesel engine, is there a cummings I can use? anyone else convert one of these oldies?

I have replaced my 454 with a Chevy Duramax LMM in my 345 airstream. I have driven it Maine to Key West 3 RT towing a 10,000# boat getting 11 to 17mpg. The replacement is not for the week of heart and requires a lot of modification. There is a bunch of pics and explanations on Duramax swap "AirRowan". Good luck.
