Hydraulic leveling jacks

Sure hope I'm starting this thread in the right section. Does anyone know where the fluid reservoir is for the leveling jacks? I've looked and looked through my owners manual, and am at a total loss.
Thanks, Derek

Check your other post. My HWH is one end of the pump/power unit.

Cheers, Dan

On my '88 345, it is under the floor between the front seats. Take the engine cover off and put your head down far enough to see the transmission and that is where they put mine. Have fun working on it if you have the same location. Good luck, Mr. D.

On my '82 310 the reservoir is pretty much under the drivers seat, And barely accessible from the dog house.
Does anyone know a good way to put the springs back after rebuilding the jacks? I think this is going to be tricky. Pete

After several days, I'll answer my own post. I was re-installing the left front jack after a rebuild & really struggling with the springs. I was able to get them back on by running a come-along from the rear axel forward to the springs. I was able to stretch them out enough to hook them together around the top of the cylinder. Next time, no problem.

I just came across this thread. I read the post before this and knew I had the answer. Then I read this one. That is exactly how I reattached my springs when one broke in the middle of the night. I may have attached the come along to a different point but it is a great way to pull the springs into position.
