Preliminary GV Pictures

I'm attempting to post just the first 3 pics of the controls and side logo (very important ) from the GV installation. If I can get this done, I'll post the "before and after" pics of the actual mechanical work underneath in about a week or so, after I've had time to get under the coach and take the final pics. If you don't see three pics here - I didn't figure it out yet . Glen has been a big help trying to walk me through this process, so I want him to get the credit either way .

If they show up, the first is the dash mounted Automatic/Manual switch, the second is the floor mounted on/off switch, and the third is the all important side logo. If they don't show up, I'll keep working on how to do this. Please be patient with me .

Tim, they need to be ".jpg" not "1014jpg". The dot lets the software know it's a file.

Oh, Moderator...we need a screen shot!!

Tim, needs a visual on how to upload photos. Tim, click on Manage Attachments below the text box as you enter your message. From the window that opens click on the first Browse button. Now navigate to your file with the photo and select it and click open. Now before you close the attachment window look down at the bottom and click upload. That's all there is to it. You can also open that dialog box by clicking on the paperclip icon to the right of the smiley face up above the text box. Keep trying you'll be a computer guru before you can say gigabite!

Here we go again. I'm trying to follow the directions from overlander and Glen. If this doesn't work - another question arises...when I drop down the window from "Insert link" what "type" is this? That may be where I'm messing this up. I put "other". Is that correct? Overlander - I think I got the .jpg format correct this time. Thanks to both of you.

Unhappy Second Failure

Well, that didn't work . I still can't get the files to open in the message box. I know I'm missing something here, other than techno-savvy , but I'm just not getting this right. Sorry .

GV Pics / Take 3

OK, I'm trying again. I found the "paper clip", Glen. Now, do I need to type .jpg for each picture, or just the number that is under in one in the MY PICTURES section of my computer? Also, do I need to upload the pictures one at a time, or can I do all 3 at the same time?

Sorry for all this trouble.

Eureka!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . Thanks guys! I'm not sure I could do that again, but at least it's finally done. Again, switch on dash is for fully automatic/manual shifting (automatic meaning a 4-speed OD). Button on floor is on/off, and can be pushed anytime to engage or disengage GV. Logo is necessary to scare off potential dragsters and other assorted challengers on the roadways .

Glen,

Seriously, I think the problem all along was the pop-up blocker. Apparently, it saw the attachments as pop-ups and blocked them. I really didn't do anything different the last time, just kept doing what you had told me. See, I really can follow directions .

Thanks again,

For the price, it should be gold-plated, instead of just gold-backed...
