Front wheel bearings

I know there are several older topics on MH wheel bearings.
On my 84 270 I had some hints that at least one front bearing set may be going bad.
I took it on a short run and felt a growl from the right front and later on noticed a slight shimmy from the same side.
I jacked it up and with the wheel on, I can get some movement by forcing the tire. I dont think it is ball joints or tie rods.
Anyway, I will let my shop do the job, but they charge a serious markup on parts.
Does anyone know the bearing part numbers for a 84 (actually a 83 P30 chassis) I can pick them up at NAPA for 1/2 the price the shop charges

You can go to any auto parts store and tell them you have a 1985 Chevrolet P30 and they will have the part numbers.

These are the numbers for my 1982.

Front wheel grease seal National 8974S
Front wheel inner bearing NATIONAL Part # A35 More Info Set Incl. taper bearing and race; Cone Bore=1.625", Cone Length=0.78", Cone Radius=0.14", Cup Outer Diam=2.891, Cup Length=0.58", Cup Radius=0.031"
Front Inner
Front wheel outer bearing National 15103S Bore 1.03" Length 0.785" Radius .031

I won't guarantee they are the same as your '84 but chances are pretty good they are the same.
Cheers, Dan

Thanks all,
I will have those numbers ready for service day.
It may be that the last time it was serviced that they did not tighten it properly and if the bearings are in good shape, tightening is all it will need.
If I need the parts, then I will buy them myself.
It ticks me off that with all the shops charge for labor, they should not gouge us with inflated parts prices!
