Engine/drive repair places? '79 Moho

Hi to all!
I want to have my '79 Excalla Moho engine and drive train inspected and repaired if needed. Looks like most RV dealers only repair the inside or camper parts and places. Who will look into the Chevy 454 and drive? I live in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Anyony know of a reputable place to take it too?

any big truck repair shop or Chevrolet truck dealers that can accomodate it. Most RV places have mechanical shops also. Are you near CampingWorld? They have a huge shop next door as well.

If you don't mind driving to Orlando, you can go to GMC Coop. While he specializes in GMC motor homes, he will happily work on your Airstream motor home. Here is his web address:

In fact, he is refurbing an Airstream motor home for a fellow forum member as we speak.

Here is another well know repair facility.Check out Walt's RV . He is near Ocala, but all he does is Airstreams. If Walt cannot do it I would bet he can recommend someone that can. 352-237-6813 is the phone #

Thanks, I will give Walt's RV a call. He may know someone closer to Jax or Green Cove. I can't wait to get this project started and have already learned a few things from reading others posts......
