If the bags are hard as rocks, that is good!

This means that the leak is a slow one. Since one side gets saggy I would start there at the bag with a leak detecting solution. Also inspect the tubing to be sure it has not cracked or gotten crimped. Since one side is down, but the other is not I would assume that it is isolated to the fittings on that side, or the valve or the bag.

Does your system maintain pressure after you leave it overnight in the accumulator tank? This would be tested with a standard air gauge on the bottom of the tank fitting.

If the bags are as hard as rocks also make sure the low side is the one that's wrong. It should be pretty level front to rear.

Forest and trees

Clear the trees for I wish to see the forest.

I can see, I can see.

I have found the elusive leveler valves. They were so in my face I did not know what they were.

I have found the problem, The actuator arm that goes to leveler valve is broken. I have photos to show. I will post later.

I could actually move arm and watch the bag rise on the cone.

Next problem, I held arm up until bag would raise/fill no further but MH is still not level. There is approximately 1 3/4" inch difference in sides.i measured with tape measure. Could there be a problem in the calibration of curbside? Can it be to high?

When I get the unit home I will dabble with adjusting linkage on each side. The linkage on driver/street side has seperated from swivel joint nearest the axle. It was hanging freely.

Does it give a measurement in the manual for ride height?

Yep, that's exactly the problem I had too. Simple fix.
Maybe when you drive it a little everything will settle out fine.
Congrats

Measurement.

Book does not identify measurement. It simply says that it is calibrated at factory on level surface. It does say that future calibration may be required and simply says to adjust on level surface and adjust to ride satisfaction. It does give some reference to weight in relation to manufacturer of bag specified capacity.

Ken,

You said the low bag filled when you moved the broken arm. Did you have the key in the on position? Sometimes the dump function is electrically controlled so having the key off would make it hold the pressure that was in it as it tried to compensate for the low bag.

Ignition

Ignition and motor was on and compressor was running.

Battery is going dead for some reason while sitting. I had to jump start the motor. Brand new battery

Check all of the lights in the basement compartments. On my MH there is one switch that turns them all on and all off. If your are switched individually you may have one that is in the on position. These for some reason are quite often hooked into the engine battery. Also if you have a kwikee electric step you need to turn it off when not using the coach. this will leave it in the out position. The step will draw mucho power wile sitting and it is normally wired to the starting battery since the key turning on is one way to bring it in.

On the bags it sounds like get it set to level in both axis, if possible, and see how it rides. You may have to call the Factory to see if they can give you the height specs.

The chassis connection

This is the opposite end of the linkage arm. It is supposed to be connected to the plate with an L Bolt assembly

The curbside

This is what it is supposed to look like.
You can see how the linkage is affixed to the chassis plate with the L Bolt

Air bag height

I looked in book. The only reference to adjustment is that the Airbag should be 9 inches high and not to exceed 10.5 inches.

So when I get it home I will adjust valve linkage to maintain 9 inches with empty tanks.

My water tank is full right now and I wonder how much that is affecting my level.

I will drain it when I calibrate leveler valves.

New linkage

Ordered part for 7 dollars. installed and the rear end is much closer now.

I will have to adjust opposite side linkage to match the new linkage.

My bag is slowly leaking down, dont know if it is the valve or the bag. I will investigate when weather squares away.
