Diesel tank fuel sender p/n?

I pulled the fuel sender off my tank today, procrastinated in tearing up the old carpet that needs replacing since we bought it 1.5 years ago. Fuel gage never worked. Luckily there was a cut out in the floor above the sender so I didn't need to pull the tank, nor cut a hole.

Now that the sender is out, it is clearly shot since some of the fine wire windings are cut and loose in the send rheostat itself..

Has anyone replaced their sender and now the part number and where to buy it?
There is no markings or p/n number on it. The tank is 15" deep at the sender.

It is a Isuzu diesel, 28ft Excella.

I do not know, but I asked my best friend when I have questions about stuff like this. Does this answer your question:
1. Link for all options of P30 Chassis
2. Link sender and supply
3. Link for just sender

Thank you, very close.
I was just on the Mill supply site myself looking at all the pictures, but they are not the same. I aslo do not know the resistance that it should put out to run the gage in the dash, so I am hoping someone on the forum has replaced theirs and has a p/n.

I will continue to scour the web. once I figure it out I will post the part number, or at least what I found that is functional.

I have used one of these with a saddle tank on my duramax truck. With the Stewart Warner gauges, they should be 240 ohm senders. You will just need to know the depth of the tank to order you sender.

Thank you for your help. After some searching ,I just bought a VDO sender and Gauge from Summitracing, I needed to buy some other car stuff and it gave me an excuse to get it over the $100 line for free shipping.

I bought:

VDO 226008 fuel sender
VDO 301106 fuel gauge

Both are 0 to 90 Ohm units. It seems to match the "GM" convention for gauges/senders I read somewhere so I went with it since parts should be more available following The General". It doesn't really matter provided the sender and gauge are the same resistance range.
The sending unit and gauge are NOT specific to diesel from what I can see. They are just universal.

I will post some install pictures for others to reference later in the week.

Also, I checked my gauge by following the Teleflex trouble shooting guide below. Needle doesn't move. Time for a new one. 34 years is long enough for OE I think.

Thanks again!

new sender and Gauge installed

Installed the sender and gauge and they work perfectly.
Bought the below p/n's from Summitracing.com.

When installing gauge, it is import to check the sender on the bench with the gauge wired and the swing measured against the tape measure to indicate the tank depth. Then check it twice. I just used a battery tender for the 12v supply. You can put the float rod in the otherway and the gauge will read full when empty and vise versa. I must be getting older/wiser because I checked to make sure that up was full and down was empty before I installed it!

Leaving for St Louis tomorrow then Memphis or Branson area. It will be good to have all the gauges working and know how much fuel I have and not have to rely on the odometer to estimate level.

Good travels! It is going to be a good travel year.
