Hey, Chris,

I'm glad you're up and running again. I'm just curious - isn't it about time for a timing belt, too? Assuming that's an over head cam engine, that is.

Outta date Engine....

Hi Lamar... Well Mr. Ford had a few thousand old 1300 OHV Engines leftover, so one of His Guys decided 2 update the old pushrod motor, so they took away the carb, & fitted an injection unit, pretty darn good 2, it aint slow at all, trouble is it aint fast either, well NOT as fast as the more modern up2date Euro trash hot hatches, it's a good cruiser at 70 + mph... mines the '95 model...way outdated as I say, but U can't beat it 4 reliability... parts r 2 for a dime, & its thats easy 2 fix, now Yr wonderin Y I never done the job Myself... seems they r easy 2 work on, well My Mums very sick... & My D/Ds off work on Her Hols, so I usin Her car, it's Exactly the same as mine, same colour, year, & abt the same milage 2...LOL, we work at the same place, & we often try gettin in2 the wrong car...LOL... anyhow, Suzanne, the Girlie mechanic, has a cute As*... sorry I meant cute SMILE...LOL She is GOOD, & if I mess it up, I gotta pay 2 get it sorted, so Y not let Her do it, beside, I don't trust jus anyone with My car, U gotta have a Good honest fixer, U ALL kn what I'm on abt... I gotta Disabled Son, Mark, so I need 2 run Him around & pik up My other Girlies from wherever they end up...LOL, finkin of changin Her 4a TAXICAB...Grrr... & Her indoors... the one who HAS 2B obeyed, ( bless Her ), I gotta take shoppin... LOL...
She done a few more lttl things that I needed goin, what I guess I did'nt kn abt, like a New fan belt, a hard air cleaner pipe, & a pollen filter 4 the internal heater... I nvr knew abt that one, no wonder it nvr got hot In My car, the filter was totaly blocked, & funny enough the heater fan dont sound in pain anymore...LOL... She retains all parts & shows Me new ones, She uses Her brains, & it's only a few more 's, but well worth it... She IS a KEWL Lassie indeed, would'nt go anywhere else... Her Husband is a top rate Guy 2, He dose the car boddies & weldin, paintin & so He don't mind Me flirtin with Her, I always give her a peck on the cheek & a Cuddle...'cos He knows it's Guys like ME who keep Guys like Him in a job... If He gets upset I'll give Him one as well..LMAO. My Neighbour's son bumped His car, a while ago, & was sorted By Geoff, & by word of mouth, He gotta LOT of extra work, now He has 2 book jobs in..., I kinda bets he's cursin Me... but I told Suzzy, it's Yr own fault 4 bein so good, She says IS there any other way 2 do a job... Bless Her... Anyhow, so far so good... I'll jus have 2 wait n see if My plugs mis-behave...Chris.....

It's NICE 2B Important...but it's more Important 2B NICE...Chris.....
