Anyone every replace their own front rotors?

Just looking for tips or gotchas on replacing the front rotors on my 1992 LY. I'm planning this as my next project. I have the rotors already and am planning on picking up any seals that would be needed. I have 2 new sets of Wagner fully loaded calipers as well. The soft brake lines were replaced a couple years ago so I wont need to replace them this go around. Any help from those that have done it would be greatly appreciated.

It's pretty straightforward. Take off the tires, remove the calipers and support them so they don't hang by their hoses (I use a bent coat hangar). Pop off the dust cap, remove the cotter pin, unscrew the castle nut, and slide the assembly off the spindle. You should now have access to the mounting bolts on the backside of the hub. An impact gun is a real help to remove them.

Thanks for the help. Job done and now I have new rotors, rebuilt calipers and new pads on the front. Only area that was a little difficult was the 8 bolts that hold the hub onto the rotor. My air gun couldn't muster enough torque to get them loose so I had to take them to the shop to get them off. Really need a lot of torque on those bad boys. I suspect the rotor was the original from 1992.
