air suspension

The air compressor for my rear air suspention on my 81 A/S motorhome went out. Does anyone have any ideas where I can get a new one? Is there a replacement,it mounts in the generator compt. thanks. g.stag@verizon.net

Airstream used 2 different type of compressors.

One is small and the other is rather large and heavy.

Which one do you have?

The smaller one is considerably cheaper than the larger verson, but it takes more time to reach maximum pressure.

Thanks Andy. Are they still avalable,and how mutch. I must have the small one its a twin cylinder @ 6"x8" and only weighs a couple of pounds. thanks. g.stag@verizon.net

The whole air bag deal was wrong. We've spent tons to square it away, the only way is to stop at tire shops to get the bags to 125 psi. Saw a 345 that had air inlets for both sides...made sense.
