8.1L with Allison 1000 4x4 transmisison, anyone convert to drum output brake?

So I'm about to pickup a wrecked chevy 2500 truck for almost free and I plan on swapping in the 8.1l with allison into our 77 28' argosy. That said, is there a kit that can be bought to add a drum brake to the rear where the transfer case goes? I know the zf5 was like that but I'm not sure about the allison. I'm sure I could have something made or make something in the shop but it would be awesome if I could buy a used factory setup and bolt it on.

I think you need to read this thread and get a hold of modified13 by pm.

It looks like the donor truck he used was 4wd but I do know they came 2wd as well.

I did quite a bit of research when considering this swap last year and I believe the unit used in school buses have a brake on the output shaft. But also swapping from 4x4 to RWD was not straightforward, and I was advised to look for the RWD version (which is pretty rare).

I'm in the process of swapping a 2008 T-1000 into my Silver Bullet. But I got a housing with the rear flange for the E-brake.
I was looking into the option of a disk brake on the drive shift at the rear end after I found the first T-1000 4X4 tranny cheap. But then I bought a 'package' after I went to SEMA last year. Sold the 4X4 for a good profit.
I'm been away from that project while I heal from back surgery. Just got so finishing up to do on the 1996 Dodge Cummins I put in front of the Allison:<)
