Are you talking about the black things in the center bottom with a small grill? I think they are called Weepers.

I just bought the weep hole covers for the windows form INLAND about 7 bucks a piece for the larger ones with the screening inside, and less for the front windows plastic covers that look like a small C.....I noticed the same covers on vintage winnebago front windows also...
The larger ones take one rivet to hold them on.

Airstream has discontinued production of the "classic" motorhome, some time ago.

As a result, some parts are no longer available.

Some parts have escalated in price, such as the "weep hole covers."

Current the window "vertical trim seal" is not available, and may not be available for 3 to 6 months.

It seems that the original manufacturer of that part will no longer produce it. Airstream is searching for a new vender for that part.

Thumbs up

Bfrank,

Thank you for the referral to Sunny Hare. He was so informative and as you said great to work with.

They have been in business there since 1954, and have a close relationship with the Airstream factory. If you need anything they are probably the people to know. They specialize in heavy construction (rebuilding Airstreams' exteriors after accidents).

I found out one thing, weep hole covers are not a discontinued part. These come in two sizes from the Airstream factory (1.75 "flat" and 2.5 inches "screened"). It sounds like they sell out of them regularly, but get a steady supply from the factory.
