Warning tones while going around a corner

I did a search on warning tones on the site and didn't find anything so I'll ask here for input. I own an 2019 Atlas that I picked up a few weeks ago. I have about 1200 miles on it and everything is working well so far except I am now hearing some type of warning tone when I make a turn. It will sound the tone two to three times while rounding a corner and it doesn't do it every time I turn. I've read the MP users manual that came with the coach but couldn't find any mention of this tone. Has anyone experienced this issue?

I've checked the dash info center for a warning but haven't seen anything pop up there. Maybe a cross wind warning tone as the coach has a cross wind assist function.

Do you have blind spot warning in the vehicle?

Clearly a tone. After hearing the tone I've looked at the message screen, center instrument cluster, and didn't have any messages.

Thanks for the input.

Just wondering:
Does tone sound on left turns, right turns or both.
If only right turn there might be some kind of curb monitoring sensor.

So far just during a left turn.

That certainly is a possibility but I haven't found that feature in the manual. It does have collision avoidance/prevention assist along with lane keeping assist. The Lane Keep Assist has a totally different sound. It's more of a beeping sound than a tone.

Thanks for the reply.

This occurred during normal driving conditions. Double turn lane arc in the out side lane and a normal 90 degree left. Nothing fast at all.

Only left turns? Must be a NASCAR alarm.
Seriously, not a clue. But if it was me, I would disconnect the battery for one minute and allow everything to reset. Then have someone ride with you and look for anything that emits an alarm.

The auto braking system sensor is letting you know there is stationary vehicle or a pedestrian in front of your vehicle as you make the turn.

Okay, that could be it. The sensor must be seeing something that isn't there. Cars are sitting at the traffic light, stationary on the other side of the street as I make the turn. I'll need to take note of the surroundings when it happens the next time.

Thanks for your input.

Could something be triggering your blind-spot warning? Overly sensitive? Are you seeing any other light indicators?

On my Equinox there are sensitivity settings, three levels (?from memory?). If I set it to the highest sensitivity setting this false notification happens often. Even shrubs near the corner will set it off during a turn to the left. It is hard to see the visual warning, since clears faster than a person's reaction time, if the vehicle is moving.

Thanks for the input We own a 2017 Honda Accord Touring sedan that has several active safety features. My wife drives it everyday and has turned off several of these features. It's another car that see's things that aren't there.

Geezzzeee; for the price of an Atlas, it should come with a salesman/instructor for the first year to help with these questions!

Check awning and step both have a alarm installed by Airstream and will not show on the dash.

I'll check them both. Thank You. It makes sense that it was on the Airstream side of the coach instead of the Mercedes Benz info side.

As I was parking it in the storage lot last night, I noticed that the left rear utility access door isn't locking. I have to read through the manual to see if it has an alarm that sounds if all of the outside storage doors aren't locked.

Thanks for your input.

Perhaps try switching OFF the ASR, Collision Prevention, Lane Keeping and see if warning sound stops.
