Vertical window seals

Hey,
So I replaced all my window channels and that grey vertical seal that goes on the inside frame, and the one that goes on the outside frame. I did this last summer. These darn things have shrunk up at least an inch. Oh, I can stretch them back out, but they suck back down. And when I put them in, I squeezed them down, knowing that when it got colder out, they would shrink a little. And when warm weather came, they'd stretch back out. They haven't. Anybody got a solution? Have you had the same problem? Is it the plastic?. Sunlight doesn't seem to have any affect on it. The drivers side is in the shade, and they're all like that too. Weird eh? dJ
