Question tv while cruising

We would like to have the front television working while we are driving but cannot figure out how to override the safety feature. The driver won't be watching but the passenger would like to watch a video

Why not watch a different TV? Other seating should have seat belts and it can be safely and legally watched. Even the audio can be distracting, they really are locked out for a reason.
