Those are leftovers from 2 trailers ago. We did the couch in that tapestry. Edie says they don't go with the look we are doing, but I like them and the colors work fine together IMHO.

Last night I installed the front drapes that Edie finished and now it is done!

The chairs were done 2 weeks ago, but the battery in my digital camera had to be replaced.

Thanks. Now we get to buff out the exterior so the stripe is as shiny as the ivory is.

Add a few awnings, finish the suspension tweaks and I will truly be done. If there really is ever a done point on a classic MH!

Having seen it before you started, I have to say the result is stunning! You two really did a heck of a job on it. BTW, from my experience, classic anythings (motorhome, car, boat, house) are NEVER done - but that doesn't mean you don't enjoy them along the way

Outstanding job on the renovation. I really like the blue seats, carpet, and drapes. The sink job looks really cool as well. You evidiently planned and executed the upgrades with precision. I want to do mine in a similar fashion. Again, great job and a fine looking motorhome.

Thanks for the Kudos! I was involved in the planning, but the fabrics were a compromise based on cost and overall look. We wanted to depart from the plain draperies and wild upholstery.

We now have more choices in what we can do regarding the future changes as they are needed. The only thing I said was I wanted blue. The bedroom has a pale yellow that really looks good with the aged ABS.

The counter is a redo of what we had in our 1976 motorhome that I redid also. We liked it, but wanted to go a bit darker than we had it before. The counter material is just Formica, but I had to build a new counter top form scratch. I was able to reuse some of the original stuff, like the edging, but the rest was just me making it up as I went along

Edie I,II, and III... Is that what it takes to remodel an Argosy?....Is that legal ? .Looks like a good deal to me!....jem

As for me still in love that rear queen you have there, might be all it takes for me someday to land one in my driveway.

Yeah it's me, had the 78 7.3 Minuet and the 74 Overlander,,, got me a "white" box now.

Theh way I see it Chas you have to have a project. Once you get the Argosy you find done, it will be time to retire the white box anyhow, right???

That new motor has a bunch of miles on it now. On the third oil change after break in, so that means 8K in a year, not too shabby.

I was fortunate enough to get a tour of the Argosy at the 2004 Blue Spring Forum Rally. Brett has done a truly outstanding job on his motorhome, and I feel confident in challenging anyone to come up with a better refurbishment effort.

Another thread's Vintage Thunder project can't help but look like a million dollars since Brett is associated with it.
