Almost 20 days since my last update. No I have not been sitting around doing nothing!

Been waiting on parts and working on minor stuff. Here is a picture of the cab without carpet.

I am having deja vue looking at your picture.
The fun part to cover with carpet is the dog house. I used an air stapler.

Peter,

Mine right now looks just like your picture. Drivers floor and doghouse covered. I have a 9.6V Mikita stapler that works wonders. I have used it for more projects than I can count. I noticed that your doghouse is shaped different than mine. Mine goes straight on both sides and on you pass side it comes out straight and then angles.

The warnings from experience I have: when you do a recarpet job, be very paitent. The factory went a little nuts using screws to hold the carpet in place and they can be a bear to find. Also make sure you don't get carpet that is too thick, I had to pull the pad from under the hall since the bathroom door would not open due to the depth of the pile on the carpet.

All the carpet is in. I just need to finish up with the edge trimming and It will be done.

The color on the rear drapes changed. We had a heck of a time cutting the blue fabric we chose. It was defective. So Edie found this for the rear. The fronts are still going to be what I posted earlier. They still need snaps and velcro. That is for this weekend.

This weekend I got a few things done.

Finished the carpet that is posted above. Cut down the table by 1/2 inch so it will clear the new higher pile. Recovered all of the wall pads by the beds. Installed my new to me exaust manifold (thanks Al!). Installed the snaps for the rear curtains, and got one of the two storage tubes mounted.

Edie got all of the side drapes completed and installed. Now all that is left is the windshield set.

Not bad for a weekend

This was a fun project. The cork board was dry and brittle. So I raided my Dad's wine bottle cork collection (we only had fewer than 20 corks in our collection) and redid the cork board.

You can see what the old one looked like in a "Before" photo of the kitchen Brett posted earlier in this thread.

We bought "stained glass" plastic cling at Home Depot and put it in the bathroom window. Now we get light in during the day, but always have privacy.

Cool - neat job on the corkboard! I hope I run into you guys again someday so we can admire the MH in person. It's great to see all the changes you're doing to it!

Those are leftovers from 2 trailers ago. We did the couch in that tapestry. Edie says they don't go with the look we are doing, but I like them and the colors work fine together IMHO.

Thanks for the kind words!

IT IS DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night I installed the front drapes that Edie finished and now it is done!

The chairs were done 2 weeks ago, but the battery in my digital camera had to be replaced.
