Skydeck on EBAY, last day...

Is this a good deal or what? Seems too good to be true. I just find it surprising that something like this can depreciate this quickly, why would they let this go for half the price in only a couple of years?

Having sold a 40' Monaco Dynasty diesel MOHO last year, they Do depreciate that fast. Try buying a new $1.5 Million Prevost H3-45 and see what they are worth a year later!!!! You wouldn't believe it! I'll be sticking to Airstreams trailers from now on. Way better on the resale end of things.......and way cooler IMHO!

The SkyDeck has/had very limited market appeal to the average MoHo buyer. The roof feature is a nice novelty but unless you go to a lot of NASCAR or similar events........useless! Just a lot of wasted space and $$$ to build.....AND THEY LEAK TOO!!!!!!

You can't find a faster depreciating "asset" than an RV. I alway tells people looking at new RV's to buy something about three to four years old. Slightly used units typically have about 15K miles on them, most or all of the warrentee issues have been worked out and nowadays, unless you need a quad slide, most have all of the features of a new coach at half the cost.
