Eric, it is awesome. I can't tell where the VW leavs off and the AS begins. Did someone actually build this or is it photoshopped? A true VW Beetle. All it needs is the ragtop windows.

I'm pretty sure it's real. On one hand I feel (just a little bit) bad that an airstream was chopped, but it's so cool that it makes it okay;-)
I would bet a VW bus. Someone was smoking some wacky weed back in the day when they came up with this!

Eric, in the 70's my brother and some friends somehow, I think by taking out the side doors shortened up a Bus. They could pile into the back of it and he could get the front end off of the ground and do wheelies. Lots of fun. I like the way the headlights and possibly the windshield were integrated into the design. I would much rather have this one than any of the others. It looks good. My first impreddion was of an Armadillo. Or something Ferdinand Porsche would have come up with as a spy or troop vehicle. Probably slow as hell, but a lot of people are installing the Subaru Boxer engines into the later Westfalias. There is even an aftermarket adapter kit. The Subaru engine perks them up quite a bit.

That thing looks like it would be dangerous in turns. BUT IT'S AWESOME. Good for fighting crime, and doubles as a moon rover.

The ultimate Airstream sprinter belongs to Forums member SmokelessJoe. His does it all...trailer, sprinter and mini cooper ....I had the pleasure of seeing it inside and out a yearor so ago. I would love to own that rig.

Yep I agree, great job - met up with him at an RV park in Austin two years ago - great concept and great workmanship.
