I have a 1995 Land Yacht. It is in great shape except that the front and rear Fiberglass on the coach have lost their luster. I assume it is from the sun. What should I use to restore the finish. Gelcoat or something else? Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.
I would try a light polish first , automotive quality and recommended for fiberglass. Do a small area , and then if it is restoring the shine, finish up with a good non abrasive wax. There are a number of polishes available , even some specifically recommended for RV applications.
The lower abrasive polishes work well, and won't scratch.
