Replacement Rocker Switch for Aux Heater

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement rocker switch for the Aux Heater that is the exact same as the OEM part?

I wired up a second AUX heater in the back bedroom. I ran the low and high speed fan wires from the AUX heater under the couch. The extra current draw from the second fan motor created too much heat in the rocker switch and burnt it out. I cannot get it to switch off now. The switch moves to the off position, but unless I hold it, it still sends power to the AUX heaters. The Low side still works properly, but I never use it.

If I can find a new switch I will use a relay so the power bipasses the switch.

Clean work, but you definitely want a relay.
You might be able to take it apart and clean the contacts with sandpaper.

Has there always been a furnace under the bed on your 310, or did you install that?

I don't have an aux heater in my 310 to compare switches, but what you're looking for is a spdt rocker switch

On this page you can filter by the size of the hole in the dash, should get you close if not exactly the same

Thanks Magnet, there has always been a furnace under the bed, just replaced it and added the aux heater.

We have been travelling in some very cold temperatures this winter and the second aux heater makes the whole coach very comfortable. Last season when we travelled, we would either have to use the propane furnace to keep the bedroom warm or arrive with a freezing bedroom.

Hey,
I will look through my receipts. I to had to replace a couple of switches. They are a beast to find. Especially the lighted ones. I got a couple of spares. Let me dig them out and I'll get back to you. I think they were like 7.50 a piece where did you get your aux heater from. That's a great idea for the back end. I'll run two switches to the front aux 1 aux 2 I'm going to do the dash over anyway, so new switches are in order for the whole thing. I'm going bigger rocker switches. DJ
